So Many Plans
I lost my writing journal two weeks ago, and I was terribly annoyed. Every time I had an idea, I did not have the book to scribble it down. Besides, my laptop was not there either. To make matters worse, my phone was not in service either.
Anyway, I stopped begging asking my mum to get a new one and instead, I began a treasure hunt for any unused notebooks/journals. Fortunately, and randomly, I found a perfect one, in perfect condition. So I started a plan. This time, way more structured than the previous two ideas and drafts. I used a character sheet, excluding all that I thought was unnecessary. I wrote about eight pages and remade Emma Garner. This time, instead of a casual mystery, I added a science fiction element- power. In particular telekinesis.
So, I have continued doing Margaret Atwood's Masterclass and I am particularly enjoying it.
Recently, my uncle stopped by and gave me a lovely blue handmade notebook that made me want to hand-write my book instead. So, I started. But then, I did another episode of the Masterclass and realised that I was not particularly enjoying my writing in that book. Hence, this led me to stop and think, I took a little break to understand, that's currently what I am doing.
Maybe you could have a look at my writing and see if it hooks you in. Mind, I won't be continuing it.
