Your writing is absolutely LoVeLy

There's something I recently found out on my own. It's about reading your writing with fresh eyes. More like pretending that it was someone else's writing. If you never understand why some people say, "Oh your writing is absolutely LoVeLy," you should try that. I realised, that you would find it lovely too.

Okay, I've got nothing more to write, so I'll give some writing...

Edward Garner wrung his hands in despair. 'Amybeth,’ he said softly. He re-read the email. Amy looked up at her husband.

‘Who did it?’ she asked.

‘I don’t know,’ Edward replied.

‘Framed us, I mean?’

‘Don’t know that either,’

Edward Garner was a lean man with broad shoulders. His amber eyes glittered when he smiled and a long dimple, that resembled his son’s, appeared on his face. They spoke softly at half-past twelve.

Edward and Amy were now people with a lot of worries. They were investigators, investigating cases of missing people and things. To fall upon them such a claim should have been illegal.

They had a missing daughter and now this. How could two individuals carry such burden? They made sure their children had no clue about what they were actually going to do when they travelled.

‘And about Ella?’ asked Amy. ‘You do not think she has run away, do you?’

‘No,’ replied Edward. ‘It can not be. Ella was happy when I saw her yesterday. And even today morning.’

‘Did you notice, she carried her diary in her jumper. Do you suppose she did that for a reason? Maybe to carry a prized possession?’

Edward grimaced. ‘She always carried that,’ Amy really wanted to believe that her daughter would come back. ‘I think we must report her missing if she does not return by morning.’

‘Do you think she took Emmy shopping just to make her sister happy for the last time?’

Edward was infuriated now. ‘Stop!’ he bellowed suddenly and Amy cowered. ‘Emma and Ella always went out together. For once, stop. Goddamn you, Amy.’

‘When do we have to leave?’

‘Four days, we have less time,’

Amy sniffed. ‘Why? Why all of this?’ she laid back on the bed and Edward did the same. The rest of the night was spent quietly without a word passed between them but their heads remained filled with all that was to follow. They did not sleep.
