The Idea
Okay, okay, I slept through the weekend and no one can blame me. So I just chilled all day.
So here's how I came up with my idea. I know, ideas are not developed instantly. Here's how everything started. Tell you what, it consisted of three separate developing ideas.
1. The first idea was after one of my close friends (thankyou thankyou, that push was much needed) asked me to write a story similar to Tornado Brain, by Cat Patrick. Something mysterious, something to do with someone or something missing. After the first book I wrote, at the age of ten summers, I never completed a story completely.
2. At that stage, when I was eleven and a half, my sister had the inspired idea to write a book. I was a bit sceptical because I wanted to be the only writer. Not going to lie, my sister's idea was simply incredible (even though I fuelled some of it).
3. I started writing this book half a year ago and I finished it. One character, a side, not the main, has a struggling life. By then, my sister had given up the idea of writing completely. This made me steal the idea she had and she did not care at all. I took this idea and thought this idea could be put away for a sequel. I had a bunch of separate ideas.
4. I completed a lesson by Margaret Atwood, kudos to her amazingness, and she said, "What if you put those two ideas together?" And suddenly, behold...EUREKA. I put all the ideas together and there was a chemical explosion. I had found the perfect recipe to make my serum. That was an idea.
Here I am, one year later with a good idea. Every moment of my life became writing. Making up the weirdest scenes in my head. Since I have a good deal of siblings, most of them are related to my siblings. Yeah, and that's to them.
As long as I do not sleep,
Naba
