Random thoughts that inspire writers
I noticed how weird it is; when you get an idea, to all those writers out there, you immediately want to write about it. I once learned that when you pull your ponytail to tighten it, you pull it from under, not above. I immediately wondered if my characters, a sibling duo would give this advice to each other.
I saw two little sisters fight. One threw a book at the other because they were upset. Then the elder one tried to shush the little one but the little one continued crying.
That's when I came up with this:
10 years ago, she marked.
Felicity’s diary. First page. 15 of august
Dear Rose-diary
my name is Felicity garner but the other oneS call mE Floss
my teacher mr ross cirl told me to keep a diary to write how i feel in the day
he said i could keep a diary to mpro make my writng and read skill
your name is rose like mr ross name too
i have a nau bad sister caled fel Emmy
she is so bad that i threw her book on her and her lip was bad
mum yelld at me and told me not to be nauty so i will try
Emmy was mor bad but mum did not yell at her
she cut a hat i mad with mr ross and i got angry
mum tells me to be kind and shar but Em dos not
Felicity
When I witnessed this, it was like a light bulb in my head. I wrote this as the prologue. This incident probably didn't have anything to do with the book I was writing. But that's with writers, they connect any incident to writing.
Until next time,
Don't throw a book.
